Name: Koriana Letzt
Age: 21
Race: Human, female
Home Planet: Kuat, but was raised as a youngling in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, until the age og 10, when she was elected to be one of the first younglings entering Chu'Unthor.
Hair Colour: Pitch Black
Eye Colour: A pale grayish blue
Height: 1,50 meter
weight: 45 kg
Languages: Koriana speaks and understands Huttese
Appearance:
Koriana's look matches her personality perfectly, dark and firm. She is short and slender, yet muscular. Her strengt is not that of pure force, but she knows how to use her body to her advantage, giving the impression of an extremely strong woman, despite her small figure.
She's aware of the fact that her body is kept in perfect shape, and that most men would find her attractive. Not that she's really interested in any of them, but such things might come in handy.
Koriana always wears tight fitting, black clothes. Sometimes a jumpsuit, sometimes black pants and a tight fitting blouse underneath a corset.
The thing all her clothes have in common is the fact that Koriana has to be able to move freely in it. Her boots are long and black, with soft soles, so that she's able to move almost noiseless.
She owns a lightsaber, a small one hand lightsaber with a blade in an icy blue colour. It is always hidden in her right boot, so that it doesn't give away her position by reflecting any light.
In her left boot is a tiny, but extremely sharp knife.
Koriana's gaze is cold and observant, and if you feel like you're being watched in her company - you most likely are.
Personality: Koriana is a dry, sarcastic less than friendly person. She's loudmouthed, speaks her mind and cares little of what others think of her. She doesn't need them. She's confident and believes in her self and her abilities - something clearly reflected in her bearings.
She'll tell you if she disagrees with you and she has a tendency of taking over leadership if she's not satisfied with the progress of things. Most people would define Koriana as being hostile, but if you can endure her cheeky, cold nature you'll discover a loyal and devoted side of her. You have to earn her respect, but once you do that, you have it - though she might still be a bit too loudmouthed at times.
She's stubborn as hell, and once she sets herself a goal, she will achieve it.
Koriana supports the idea of fair sharing - as long as everybody knows something is being shared. If Koriana stumbles upon something good without others noticing it - why not keep it to herself? Finder's keepers.
Abilities:
Koriana is talented. No doubt about it. She's small, quick, agile, everything needed in lightsaber combat. Her force powers often caused slight hints of envy among her fellow younglings. In fact, her exceptional abilities as a jedi was what caused her Master to accept her as a Padawan, despite her...less than Jedi like nature.
But no person without flaws. Koriana has two big ones. The first is her sense of direction. On a scale from 1 to 10, Koriana's is about... -6. She literally has no idea how to get from one point to another without maps, lots of details - and her own marks. The knife in her boot is for cutting tiny marks into about anything that can aid her in finding her way back. One of the reasons she's so observant is to catch as many details on her way as possible. Koriana is aware of this enormous problem of hers - and it annoys her as hell.
Her second flaw is basically her entire personality. It's against her. She's too straightforward, doesn't really enjoy other people's company, and thinks way too highly of herself for other people to want to be around her. She speaks without thinking, is too stubborn and gets frustrated too easily. But apart from that, there's nothing wrong with her.
Background:
Koriana was born on Kuat into a wealthy family. However, when she was 6 months old, she was discovered by a Jedi Master, who brought her to Coruscant. Unfortunately, she never really fit in there. She never managed to get any friends, she was rude and impatient, and even little Master Yoda almost gave up on her. She got into trouble at least once a day, stealing, beating up the other kids, stalking them, eavesdropping. And the list goes ever on. At the age of ten, the Jedi Ship Chu'Unthor was finished, and the Masters agreed it would be good, if Koriana was one of the students moving there. They agreed a change of air would do the tiny girl good.
Unfortunately, the effect failed to come. She continued down the path she always had. Most assumed she would never be chosen as a Padawan, but the miracle happened, and the Weequay Jedi Master Ak-Kee accepted her as a padawan. He was fascinated by her talent, and convinced himself she would come around under the right guidance. He was wrong. The struggle went on for nearly four years, and Ak-Kee had to face the truth. Koriana just wasn't suited for a life as a Jedi. She questioned him constantly, nagged him everyday, and brought them into trouble on just about every mission they went on. No close Master/Apprentice bond ever grew between them. At the age of 18, she finally took things too far.
Back at the temple, she had a disagreement with a fellow student. Koriana challenged the female wookiee to a lightsaber combat, but without the Wookiee's knowledge, Koriana fought with her own lightsaber - not a temple training one. Despite the other students formidable size, Koriana quickly proved herself a deadly enemy. Koriana fled the Temple, knowing the Masters would turn her into the local authorities, should they catch her.
The last three years, she's been roaming the galaxy, taking whatever job she could get. She's worked hard to improve her skills with the force, and has even trained with Varuun Carro for almost half a year, before the two of them parted ways, when Koriana decided to try the life of a Bounty Hunter.
Against customs of the Jedi, Koriana recieved a new name, when she joined the order. Her aristocratic family at Kuat agreed to let their daugther grow up as a jedi, but they wanted to make sure she wouldn't come running back. They asked the jedi to give her a new name. The wish was granted. At the temple, she was known as Alkara Suati, but after she left the order, she paid a hacker to find her real name in the Jedi Archives. The name Alkara means nothing to her anymore.
Now, Koriana has learned of the Fallen Jedi and their doing - and is working her way through the galaxy in order to join them.
