Shep keeps an ear on the conversation between his Master and the innkeeper while he starts to walk around the room looking at the customers. He moves his head in his hood so it falls down a bit, making it harder for others to see his face though not hindering his ability to see. He moves around for a few moments and ends up leaning against the wall in a place where he can see almost all of the room.

The inn keeper smiles darkly at Kiineq
"What do you offer?"

Kiineq mentally keeps track of Shep.
He shifts his weight, and prepares for a quick getaway if this does not work.
The Master gently waves his hand, within his sleeve. It's a very subtle movement, barely noticeable.
In a low, insisting voice he says "Satisfied customers will do fine." He uses the Force in an attempt to manipulate the man's mind.

Shep smiles inside his hood when he sees what his Master is doing. About time.. He slips his right arm inside his robe and finds his lightsabre.

The innkeeper frowns deeply, looking at Kiineq for several moments.
"Yes...yes...satisfied customers will do fine..." He shrugs

Kiineq smiles a little, and relaxes a bit.
"Good." he keeps his voice low and insisting. "You will answer my question then". The Jedi gently keeps the man's mind focused with the Force.

Shep tilts his head to the side, observing his Master and the innkeeper, maybe his Master is finally getting somewhere. He does not relax though and his fingers stays on his lightsabre hilt.

The innkeeper looks at Kiineq, appearing slightly confused
"A pale man with red hair, you say? Well, we've had a guy matching that description, who left a few days ago. But he's not been making any trouble, so I doubt he's your guy. If anything, he was too wellbehaved for this kind of place"

"Do you know where he went?" Kiineq ask, careful not to break his concentration on the man's mind.
Varuun Carro, well-behaved? Right....

He thinks Varuun's been here.. Shep realises as he listens to the conversation, but why would a Fallen Jedi stop by an inn like this and 'behave'? Shep does not think that sounds like the thing a Fallen Jedi would do and specially not an Anzat. Would he not be to noticeable?

The innkeeper shakes his head
"No, he left some days ago... And didn't mention where he planned to go next. He was a pleasant customer"

"Very well." Kiineq says. "Anything else I need to know?" He still has a slight grip on the man's mind.

Shep shakes his head a bit. A pleasant customer? Seriously?

The innkeeper shakes his head
"I don't know much about the man, no"

"Thank you" Kiineq says, before he gradually releases the man's mind.
[Shep, we are leaving]
He nods to the inn keeper, before he walks towards the exit.

"Yes, Master." The Padawan mumbles as he shoves of from the wall and follows his Master. [You think Varuun was here, Master?]

The Innkeeper blinks a couple of times, seeming confused after the conversation with Kiineq. Then he resumes his task of cleaning glasses
