It had taken some time, but Ra'ya's arm was finally starting to feel normal again. She still had trouble lifting it a bid, but it was still getting better by the day.
She had decided to go back to Nal Hutta. She hadn't had a job since the failed attempt to bring the Jedi brat to Tatooine. Hopefully, she wouldn't run into the blokes, that gave her that job, any time soon. She would cross that road, when she got to it.
It felt somewhat good, to be back at Nal Hutta. The rain was still going on, but it was something she could live with. Right now, she needed to buy supplies and equipment for her storage, so she could be prepared for long travels, if that was needed.
She was right now, walking down one of the most crowded streets, taking in her surroundings.

A bit further down the street there is some commotion at a small junk shop. A chubby toydarian is shouting at a figure clad in a dark green raincoat. Perhaps sensing that there is trouble brewing, most of the crowd walk past the shop in a large arch. A big humanoid, who has the looks of a goon-for-hire towers over the two arguing. His hand is placed inside his coat, probably on a hidden blaster, but the figure doesn’t even seem to notice his presence.
The toydarian, who is probably the goon’s employer, continues shouting while pointing angrily at a piece of machinery lying on a table between him and the figure.

Ra'ya turns her head in the direction of the commotion, deciding to head in that direction, to see what all the fuzz is about.
She stops at a little distance, but not that far away, so that she can't hear, what the three are saying, but far enough away, not to be noticed right away. Waiting to see, if she should help whoever the figure was, if they needed it.

The toydarian seems furious. He throws his arms around, repeatedly pointing at the piece of machinery and the figure. Another fierce looking hired thug appears in a doorway behind the toydarian, who now waves the humanoid towards the figure. The figure looks and nearly seems to jump at the sight of the thug. Taking a step away, the figure trips and falls backwards into the mud. The hood of the raincoat slides back and reveals a female in her twenties with long brown hair.

Ra'ya now chooses to step in. She steps in, in front of the girl and takes a hold of the blaster in her belt.
Her attention is turned towards the toydarian and the humanoid. "What seems to be the problem here?"

The man in the doorway pulls a blaster as well. Behind Ra’ya the woman quickly gets back up on her feet. The toydarian looks irritably at Ra’ya. “Your friend thinks I’m selling bad parts” he grunts in a slightly accented basic. “I don’t like that.” “I never said so!” the woman behind Ra’ya counters, slightly stuttering. “I just said that with a capacitor of that model you’re not going to keep it running for more than three months!”
It seems the argument continues, the toydarian shouting something in his native tongue and the humanoid tightening his grip on his blaster.

"Now, now, there's no need for that kind of behaviour." she said to the man in the door, as she let go of her own blaster.
Taking a look at the capacitor that they had mentioned at first, and seeing that the woman had been right, that it wasn't in that good a state.
"You know," she turns to the toydarian again. "I'm quite a capable mechanic myself and can, just by looking at it see, that my friend here, is not that far away from the truth. You may not know that, because you may yourself have been cheated with this knockoff. Meanwhile, treading a customer like that, won't make a sale for you. And even though, this might not be, the most honest place in the galaxy," she snorted a bit, by that remarke. "if you were going to shoot my friend or myself, with this street full of witnesses, you probably won't be that popular anymore."

Staring at Ra’ya for a moment, the toydarian finally nods and seems to calm down. Grunting something to his men he picks up the capacitor. “That may be so. I normally only sell good things in my shop” and with that said he flaps his wings and disappears into the shop along with his men, leaving the two women not knowing whether he feared gunning down to customers on the street or just didn’t want to admit that he had been cheated by someone.

Ra'ya shakes her head, as she turns towards the other woman, with a crooked smile.
"You're gonna have to watch out for toydarian salesmen. They have a habit of cheating others."

The woman smiles slightly, probably still frightened by all that has just happened. “Ye...yeah I guess.” She blinks for a moment, as if just realising something. “You saved me. I... I owe you my life.”

Ra'ya shakes her head. "Don't mention it. Just be careful around some people ... actually, around most people in this place. Take care."
She turns to head back in the direction she came from.

“Wait! Wait!” Anira hurries after Ra’ya. “I... I can’t just let you leave. I mean... you could probably leave anyway. You seem to handle yourself really well and I end up down in the mud and...” She stops herself. “Can I buy you a drink or something? At least I owe you that much.”

Ra'ya turns as the girl talks to her again. She thinks it over for a moment, but nodds.
"Okay. Let's go have a drink over there." She points at a cantina across the street.

"Sure." Anira smiles and walks with Ra'ya towards the cantina. "You really knew how to handle that junk dealer. I'm Anira by the way"

Ra'ya shrugs and walks along with Anira. "I'm Ra'ya. And, well, when you've been around blokes like them as long as I have, then you would also know how to handle such a situation. Violence is not always the best solution."

"I see... " She hesitates for a moment. "I don't know that much about people. I guess I don't get out much." She looks up a the greasy sign as they enter the cantina. It might be something of an understatement, since the only time she's been at a place like this was that one time with her captain and the rest of the crew.

"The why would you come to a place like Nal Hutta?" she looks at Anira questioningly, as she sits down in a booth, not that far from the entrance. "It's not a place like Naboo, you know."

Anira takes a seat opposite of Ra'ya while looking around the cantina. "I don't think I've ever been to Naboo, I mean I like looking at the planets, but my place is...." She shakes her head slightly. "Well I'm not that fond of this planet but you can find the most amazing things here. The parts are cheap and usually I can make do with them. Just not that particular capacitor. Trying to keep that alive is a bit out of my league I think."

Ra'ya laughs a bid. "Ah, okay. Naboo is a very peaceful planet, where people go, to relax or retire, unless you already live there. But it's a member of the Republic, so if you're not a fan of them ..." she rolls her eyes, as if that settles it.
"And yes, the spare parts are cheap here, but if one see, that it's not in ideal state and the customer complains, then the salesman could get very angry and you end up in a situation like the one you just got out of."

Anira seems lost in her own thoughts for a second or two. "It sounds nice" she mumbles while making a mental note of visiting Naboo at some point. "My budget is a little tight so I guess I'm forced to look through a lot more of those shops, just have to, like a mynock to a power cable, you know."

Ra'ya smiles a crooked smile. "Mostly it's about how to bargain the price down. Most parts can be fixed, if you're a good mechanic, and if you see that, you can try to make them pull the prize down. It's not always easy, but if you stay firm on the matter, then it may end to your advantage."
She raises her good arm, to get one from the waiting staff to their booth.

"I am a good mechanic so maybe I should try and bargain. I'm just not that used to it." Most of her time is spent onboard the ship and usually she's just talking to Old Bill, the hyperdrive engine. "I like junkyards though. Just going through it all. Like searching for treasures."

Ra'ya shrugs. "That could be an idea. But you can also risk, only finding parts that's more rubbish than the capacitor you were looking for."

"Yeah I know. Here most of the good parts are already taken, but on some planets you can really find the most amazing things.... But that's gambling. I need the parts so I'll probably have more luck in the shops here. I'm on leave so I thought I'd use the time to gather supplies, you know."
Anira looks up as an old droid waiter approaches the booth.

Ra'ya lifts her eyebrows and looks at Anira curiously. She turns to the droid, as it approaches.
"A Corellian whiskey. And for my friend here?" she looks at Anira.

Not knowing anything about the beverages served, Anira looks perplexed.
"The....same, please."

"And make it quick." Ra'ya snapped and the droid as it moved along again.
"I wouldn't guess, that you drank a drink like that."

Anira, who has no idea of what she just ordered, smiles and tries to act as if she's got everything under control.
"Guess that surprises many. Are you from Corellia?"
She hasn't got a clue whether Corellian whiskey is actually from Corellia or not.

Ra'ya grimaces a bid, but nodds. "Yeah. I'm from there. But I haven't been there, since I was 15, when I left. It's a strong drink, that could possibly resemble the most fiercest Corellian smuggler. But if you're up for trying something new, then why not try with something strong." She winks at her.

The colour of Anira's face turns slightly white. "Yea... yeah that's what I say..." No it's not. Quickly, change the subject!.
"Why did you leave?"
