Visiting the wounded ((After "First time visit"))

[Eamon Cadriaan]

"Do you think that the Republic should consider officially entering a state of war with the Fallen?" Eamon asks, using the very word that Sinn'da used.

[Sinn'da]

Sinn'da opens her mouth to answer, but then closes it again. She bites her lower lip, frowning slightly. "I don't think that's for me to decide. ...-Senator. But...yeah, perhaps. If it could help to end the threat before it grows too great to handle."

[Eamon Cadriaan]

Eamon sighs

"I'm glad you think so. War is perhaps not the solution. After all, war is the result of politicians falling where they shouldn't have, but... It's good to see someone who actually feels that something should be done."

He shakes his head in disbelief.

"The threat from the Fallen is growing bigger every day and I fear that it will take another serious blow to the Republic before anyone starts listening... And I won't let that happen."

Realizing that he has let his mind wonder he smiles apologetically at Sinn'da

"I'm sorry."

[Sinn'da]

"I hope it doesn't come to that..." Sinn'da looks down at her hands, and her lekku twitch slightly. There has already been too much death. Too much tragedy.

[Eamon Cadriaan]

"Me neither." Eamon nods in agreement and looks at his datapad again.

"If I speak to the Chancellor about having Jedi in the senate on a permanent basis, do you think he'll be able to convince the Jedi Council?"

[Sinn'da]

"I don't know. Maybe." She sighs, biting her lip, and then looks up at the human. "Sir, it's nice to talk to someone, it really is. And I'm glad you think I can help put some light on the situation. But... I'm just a padawan. And I haven't heard anything about any plans or opinions the council may have. I'm...afraid I'm wasting your time. ...-Sir." She wished she could help him, and she doesn't want him to leave. But not having any answers just makes her feel so stupid.

[Eamon Cadriaan]

Eamon smiles knowingly. One must indeed admire this young padawan for her honesty.
He answers in an assuring voice.

"I know, I know. But I can assure you that you're not wasting my time in any way, young padawan. You may not be know the opinion of the Council but you were there in the Senate that day and the Council was not. You have been more than helpful and I can't thank you enough."

He adds a friendly smile.

[Sinn'da]

"I'm... well, I'm glad you think so." Sinn'da smiles slightly, and her lekku seem to relax a little. He really seems like a nice person.

[Eamon Cadriaan]

"It's just the truth." he adds with another smile.

He looks down at his datapad.

"But maybe I've already taken too much of your time. Not to mention that you should rest."

[Sinn'da]

"I've been resting for days now," Sinn'da sighs, looking around the dull white surroundings. "It's not like I'm straining myself." The words have only just left her mouth, when she realizes the senator probably has a million other important things to do. -more important than sitting at the infirmary, chatting with a padawan who can't really give any answers.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to... yeah, well." She shakes her head before giving the man a slight smile. "I hope you find some answers."

[Eamon Cadriaan]

"Some answers only breed more questions right?" he says with a wink before getting up.
He does have a busy schedule and he is supposed to report back his findings to the Tapani leaders before the coruscanti nightfall. And even though he has found some of the answers he was looking for, he feels like a million more questions have arisen.
So there's no doubt about the fact that there is work to do.
He would rather stay and talk with this padawan though.

"But thanks for your time padawan Sinn'da. I hope we will have a chance to speak again in the near future."

Once again he imitates the Jedi bow as good as he can.
