Name: Tyrius Destuntall.
Race: Human (Coruscant).
Age: 28.
Hair Color: Dark Blonde.
Eye Color: Green.
Height: 1.86
Weight: 79 kg.
Appearance: Tyrius is lean, with not a single gramm of superflous fat on his body. He carries himself with confidence, and a fairly relaxed smile on his handsome face.
He does, however, have a few very visible scars. His entire left arm, and a good part of his torso, is covered in a large burn scar. The left part of his neck, also appears to once have been torn open.
His hair is kept short and neat, usually with some small amount of styling to it.
Tyrius almost always wears his robes, though he has been known to wear ordinary clothes on occasion. On such occasions, he usually opts for something resembling formal wear.
Skills: A skilled Lightsaber duelist, he has mastered three of the seven forms: Shii Cho, Soresu and his preferred style Juyo. He trains daily, with the intention of mastering the remaining four. As a force user, Tyrius' abilities are mostly centered around the physical ones. While he is certainly capable of bending minds, this is not his strong suit.
A skilled orator, Tyrius is also a good teacher and, occasionally, diplomat.
Languages: Basic, Dosh, High Galactic, Bocce.
Lightsaber: The hilt of his saber is slightly longer than ordinary, and made primarirly of blued steel. The blade is orange, and looks slightly unstable.
Personality: Lacking the usual reserve of a Jedi, Tyrius can come as a bit of a suprise. He tends to wear his heart on his sleeve, and as such is prone to to emotion – A trait normally not desired in Jedi. Normally, he is a polite and cheerful man. However, he is not likely to take an insult well nor will he tolerate the bullying of others – Such things are likely to anger him.
At his heart, however, Tyrius is a good man who truly desires the best for everyone.
Tyrius despises trandoshans with every fibre in his body.
Background: Born on Coruscant, Tyrius was quickly discovered by the order. As such he was raised in the temple from an early age. As a youngling he took quickly to the study of lightsaber combat, but was consistently bored during philosophy lessons. His temper was apparent from a young age, and many steps were taken to attempt to rein it in. For the most part, they were succesful.
At age 11 Tyrius became a padawan. His master, rather than trying to put a complete lid on his emotional nature, instead tried simply teaching him to control and focus them through the Juyo style he, himself, practised. Along with his master, Tyrius mostly travelled through the galaxy only rarely spending time in the temple, aside from what was strictly required. After ten years, at the age of 21, Tyrius completed his trials and became a Jedi Knight.
Maintaining his relationship with his former master, the two would often work together. On one such occasion, the two stumbled over a slaving operation. The trandoshan responsible, however, was no fool. As the two Jedi attempted to destroy the operation, the two of them were horribly injured in an ambush. The two would likely have prevailed in their fight, if Tyrius' master had not been shot with an LJ-50 Concussion rifle. Tyrius himself sustained heavy burns to the left side of his body. His master, unfortunately, did not survive his injuries.
Believing the two Jedi to be dead, the slavers left them to rot in the sun. Tyrius was shortly found and recovered by a republic patrol.
Since then, Tyrius has been on a personal crusade against slavers. Especially Trandoshan slavers. After the incident, Tyrius has spent a good deal more time in the temple than he used too, and even teaching a few classes himself. So far, he has not taken a padawan.
