Name: Zath Sinn
Age: 35
Race: Zabrak, male
Height: 190 cm
Weight: 95 kg
Skin colour: Pitch black
Tattoo colours: Traditional Tribal zabrak Tattoos in white
Eye colour: dark purple
Appearance: Zath is a quite tall, quite strong Zabrak. He gives the impression of someone capable of breaking you in half with his bare hands – which probably isn’t wrong. When he enters the room, he looks like the strong, silent type. Which isn’t way off either. When doing business along with the other space slugs, he’s often brought as the intimidating factor. He’s quite good at the “standing in the background, hands on the back, and looking scary” thing. He’s often dressed in a neutral t-shirt, dark brown leather jacket and midnight blue pants. He wears big, black, military like boots. He always carry two blasters with him. Furthermore, he often carries a vibroblade in a sheath on his back. And, as a last resort, he has a small knife hidden in his right boot.
Personality: Zath isn’t much of a talker. At least not when he’s working. He’s well aware of the fact that he’s one of the more intimidating parts of the Space Slugs. And that’s a role he intends to keep. In fact, sometimes you’ll come to think you’ve met Stenaxes with more humour than Zath, but don’t let his working attitude fool you. When hanging out with the rest of the Space Slugs, he doesn’t mind talking and joking with his friends and co-workers, though his humour is often a bit more stiff and uptight than the rest of the gang. Like many other Zabraks, Zath believes anything can be achieved, if you just work hard enough to fulfil the task. Give him a job, and he’ll do it, no matter how hard, or how long it takes to do it. He’s been known to be the one to make the dry comments, that will seem like a joke to everybody else – but there’s some doubt to whether or not Zath actually intends for them to be jokes.
Zath is very loyal towards the Space Slugs, and wouldn’t dream of betraying them. He owes them his life, and though Zabraks don’t do the whole life debt thing, Zath has nowhere better to be.
Background: Zath was born on Iridonia. He was the youngest brother in a group of three, however, it quickly became clear that he was by far the strongest, most hardy and the most enduring of them. He quickly grew to be taller than both his older brothers, and excelled in the way of martial arts. Zath had a wish to join the Republic Military, and at the age of 18, he left Iridonia to pursue a career. Due to his talent, he had no trouble being accepted, and quickly excelled. However, one day, fate took a wrong turn for Zath. In a training match with a fellow soldier, Zath finally discovered the full range of his strength. He slammed the human into the floor – and broke his back. Zath did his duty, called on the medics – and then left the building. His pride was hurt, and to be honest, he feared the consequenses. And not only did he leave the building, but eventually, Zath took off from the planet as well. Maybe, a soldier’s life wasn’t meant for him anyway. The next few years he travelled around the galaxy, earning credits as best he could. He often worked as a bodyguard for those who would hire him. And much to his surprise, Zath actually enjoyed this kind of living. The freedom was much different from his life at the military, but the pay wasn’t bad – and he was quite skilled. In fact he had build up quite a reputation.
But, alas, poor Zath. Fate had more in stock for him. At some point he was working for a human smuggler, who had managed to upset some Hutts. Unfortunately enough the Hutts had placed a price on said human’s head. And, a couple of bounty hunters had decided that those money would be nice to get. And so the hunt began. Zath was good, but five against one was too much for him. Long story short, the human was killed, but the bounty hunters weren’t sure what to do with Zath. One suggested killing him. However, another got a bright idea. He looked strong. He would make an excellent slave. And that’s how Zath ended up on Tatooine. He was sold to a wealthy miner on Tatooine, and spent the next years living the hard life of a slave, working under the twin suns of the desert planet. Not a desirable life. And ultimately, Zath got himself into trouble again. He got into a fight with one of the other slaves, manages to destroy the work of a whole day, smashed into one of the carts, damaging it. And, oh, the other slave was killed. Needless to say, his Master wasn’t pleased. So, Zath was sentenced to death. To die under the burning sun of Tatooine. But, luck is a strange thing. Zath had been tied to a pole outside the mine less than a day, when Dia’Talkina, leader of the space slugs arrived. She was there to pick up supplies. And she saw Zath. And his potential. Using Drashk Raah’s credits, she bought Zath, and brought him with her off the planet. On the ship, she told him, that she’d like him to work for her – but he had to do so willingly, she did not believe in forcing their cause upon anyone. Zath agreed, and has been with the space slugs ever since.
