Mitker finds the office on level 3, and sure enough, something seems to be going on behind door no 5. Looking at the many journalists gathered in front of the door, discussing the meeting, Mitker spots a couple of colleagues that he knows personally. Approaching one of them, he asks what is going on in there.

The door to the office opens, and one of the Senators taking part in the meeting emerges in the doorway. Senator Aeré Jupal looks straight in front of her, somehow seeing the holojournalists.. - and somehow not seeing any of them. Of course that's not something they're aware off. To the journalists she is just being... serious.

Mitker decides to seize the moment. Elbowing his way through the colleagues, he makes his way towards her, saying "Pardon me, Senator, but why did you appear at the press conference the other day, only to say what's already been said? It seemed like you were under censorship of some sort." He speaks loud enough for anyone to hear that, hoping it will stir things up a bit.

Aeré stops her walk through the little crowd of holojournalists and turns her head just a bit to look at the Rybet. "Pardon me?" She frowns a bit, but smiles at the reporter. "Censorship, you say?"

"Yes, well, I mean no disrespect," he says, having finally made his way through the crowd of journalists, "and I am wholly basing this on assumptions, but it seemed to me like there was more you wanted to tell us than what you actually did tell us at the press conference." He clears his throat dramatically. "That could be taken as an indicator, insofar as that is the case, of you being subject to some form of censorship... not necessarily malign censorship, and perhaps censorship is not even the right word..." He then goes silent, realizing that he was heading off into a longer lecture.

Aeré's steelblue eyes fix on the Rybet to her right, and she turns fully around to look at him. "Believe me, I've got nothing more to say than what has already been said in that case..." She smiles politely. "At the press conference I was merely answering a question, Mr....?"

"Forg", the Rybet says "Mitker Forg... and, I mean no disrespect, Senator, but I find that hard to believe. I and most of my esteemed colleagues here", he says gesturing towards the other journalists "have been in search of the truth, probably since oh long before you were born." He pauses dramatically, smiling apologetically. "...And I think it is not hard to see that you do have more information you would like to share with the galactic public."

"Is that so??" Aeré's warm smile doesn't fade a bit. "Then what do you and your esteemed colleagues suspect is going, Mr. Forg? You must have some thoughts or even theories, since you think that I should possess any information on this matter."

Looking around at the crowd of journalists and then on the senator, the Rybet politely said "If we knw what was going on, milady, there would be no reason for us to investigate it."

"No, really?" Aeré's smile grows a little warmer. "Pardon me, Mr. Forg, but I would dare to claim that your investigation has taken a wrong turn. I'm not one of the leading senators on this matter."

"I have found in the past", the Rybet says, "that information often lies with those who are not, for whatever reason, leading figures in the case in question."

Aeré smiles. "That is often the most effective way to hide information, yes," she answers, frowning a bit. "But to suspect a Naboo senator... Isn't that chasing a wild bantha? My people are passivist. We rely on the power of negotation."
