Coeur lands on the floor and kills the two agressively humming red blades in her hands. Then she slowly stands up and turns around to take a look at the training site.
The droids armed with training lightsabers lay scattered all over the floor. In small pieces, some of them still smoking.
Coeur runs a hand through her long, black hair floating down her hair. In her mind she lets go of the emotion filling this training session and places her two beloved weapons in her belt.

... And just as she does, the door to the room opens behind her.
Trace was actually walking in his own mind on his way to the training halls. He didn't even notice that someone was in here, before he opened the door. He stops as he recognize the tall zabrak woman standing with the back at him, and blinks his eyes as he notice the the droide (or droide-pieces to be more correct) lying all over the floor.
"Hi," He greets her, a little confused, maybe. He grinds his teeth in his thoughts, suddently realizing what he said, and knowing that "hi" isn't usually the proper way to greet a jedi master. Especially not one like Master Ismeth. "Sorry. Didn't think anyone would be in here..."

Coeur turns around in one sharp movement, almost like a Nexu caught off its guard. She looks at the intruder, but doesn't reach for her weapons. This is the Jedi Temple. Here are no enemies. Only annoying lifeforms....
"Raydawn." She smiles briefly and nods at the young knight. "Did any of your Masters ever learn you how to knock?"

Trace raises an eyebrow as first reaction to the Zabrak's comment. Did any of his Masters.... Was that an insult...?
"Master Ismeth... " He greets her again (better this time) when she speaks his name. "No I'm not sure they did," He answers with a slight smile. "Sorry. Hope I didn't interrupt anything... But it looks like you're pretty... " He's glance moves momentarily to the scattered droids lying around the Zabrak jedi. "...done"

"... done?" Coeur's smile grows wider, almost like a predatory grin. "Yes, I was. But the aftermath of a battle is as important to reflect as the battle itself."
She places her hands on her back, looking straight at him. "So you did interrupt something."

Trace nod his agrrement, looking at the zabrak as his smile disappears. "Yeah, I guess you're right... All though I usually clear my mind during the battle, rather than after." He smiles again, a little wry this time. "Actually that was what I came for. I've just watched the news and thought I could need some... relaxation."

"I clear my mind after each battle, freeing myself of my chosen emotion." Coeur walks closer, taking each step at a time slowly. "I don't expect you to understand that."

Despite Coeur's almost provoking attitude, Trace doesn't seem intimidated at all. He raises and eyebrow, meeting the taller womans eyes with a calm glance. "No. Please explain it for me."

Coeur raises an eyebrow and smiles weakly. "I chose an emotion to carry into battle, everytime I find myself facing such," she answers, with the tone of a teacher talking to a student. "Whenever the battle is over, I free myself again from that emotion. Clearing my mind."

Trace tilts his head on one side and narrows his eyes slightly, giving the zabrak a wondering look.
"An emotion. Like what?"

"Whatever I feel in the first breath of battle." Coeur turns half around to look at the 'scene of battle'.

Trace crosses his arms over the chest, his eyes following the zabrak jedi as if he were still looking her in the eyes. "So what did you feel in this battle, for example?" He asks calmly, but he's starting to find this a little interesting.

Coeur looks at him again, raising one sharp eyebrow. There is a hint of.... something in her eyes, but that could be all imagination.
"Peace."

"Aha." Trace answers toneless, now watching the 'battle scene'. the expression of his face doesn't look very convinced, though he doesn't seem to notice the equivocal glance in Couer's eyes either. Then he suddently seems think of something, an moves his eyes back to the zabrak.
"But peace ain't really an emotion, is it?" He asks, knitting his brows at her.

"Feeling peace in your mind is." Coeur reaches down and caresses one of her weapons in her belt.

Trace considers Coeur's answer for a moment, looking rather thoughtful. "That's an interesting thought." He concludes as his glance slowly moves from the zabrak to some imaginary spot far behind her. "But doesn't that kinda contridict the first phrase of the jedi code?" He then ask her, his right hand scratching the back of his head.

Coeur raises an eyebrow and looks at him again, her hand resting on her hip. "If you follow the Code for dear life, then yes - it is contridicting 'there is no emotion, there is peace'. Do you have a point in asking, Raydawn?"

"Nah..." Trace shrugs. "I'm just interested..." He lights op in another weak smile. "It's not every day you hear a Master contridict the code."

"The Code is only guidelines." Coeur shrugs again. "We have a free will to chose, how we live our lifes as Jedis." She raises an eyebrow, perhaps provoking him.

The code is guidelines? Haven't heard that before... Trace thinks sarcasticly as he yet again cross his arms over his chest. Still smiling, he narrows his eyes at the Zabrak jedi, looking a bit skeptical. Trace is starting to get the feeling, that Couer is kind of... playing with him. Testing him, perhaps. "Yeah, I do agree with you on that. " He nods, his smile fading a bit. "All though I don't think, we should chose freedom over selfcontrol.... you know... You can get too focused on being individual, you forget what's it all about. My old master did that."

Coeur smiles at him and walks closer, stopping right in front of him. "I know the limits of my selfcontrol - it matters more than my personal freedom."
She reaches out and rests a hand on his shoulder. "Do not compare me with your old Master."

Trace shakes his head rejectingly and holds up his right hand as a kind of defence. "I don't." He replies, taking a half step backwards to increase the distance bestween them. He doesn't like to stand to close, especially not with Master Ismeth... for some reason...
He frowns a bit as he lifts his eyes to her again. "But I think you're kinda talking in.. riddles.."

Coeur doesn't release him, as he draws backwards. On the contrary. She tightens her grip painfully, preventing him from breaking away entirely. "You need to pay a little more attention to solve my riddles, Raydawn."

why... is she doing..that...
Traces frowns slightly while his attention is dawn to Coeur's hand, wich, for some reason, is still lying on his shoulder. He considers this for a moment, before reacting to her comment. "Okay.. so what you're saying is...." He starts, considering his words carefully. He gestures himself with the other hand, as if he tried to catch the words in the air. He doesn't seem to succeed, and shakes his head instead. "... Don't confuse me."

Coeur smiles viciously (almost similar to a certain Fallen Jedi). "A pity, Raydawn. A pity indeed. Such a young brilliant mind - and already confused."

Suddenly, the doors spring open, and a young Twi'lek boy enters. He looks to be around 6 years old, with dark blue skin. He just stands there, panting for several moments, before finally being able to speak.
"Are you Trace Raydawn?"

Trace narrows his eyes again, a little unsure of the jedi master's intentions. It seems, in a way, that she's trying to upset him by talking down to him. But it has to his imagination. Jedi Masters don't do that. Instead he shrugs and smiles slightly. He opens his mouth to answer Coeur, but the words doesn't make it out of his mouth before the sound of the door behind interrupts him. He turn immidiately to face the "intruder".
"yeah.. yes I am." He answers the young twi'lek, looking a bit surprised.

Coeur remains silent, but slowly turns and glares at the young Twi'lek for interrupting. Even if Master Chapaa'ai himself send the kid, it is no excuse for rudeness. OR forgetting that a Jedi Master is present in the very same room as the soughtout Jedi. That young one needs to learn some respect.
"Your Masters don't teach you YOUNG ones to knock anymore?" she asks again, still glaring at the young Twi'lek for a moment, before looking at Trace. Still glaring.

"Oh...I...I'm sorry" The Twi'lek suddenly appears even younger - and had his skin not been such a deep blue, he might have blushed.
"I'm sorry Master, I mean..." The boy can actually feel his legs tremble underneath him. The Zabrak is scary.
"It's just...Master Chapaa'ai send me to find Trace..."

Trace frowns inadvertently at the jedi master when she corrects the kid, but he doesn't say anything. He also manage to keep himself from glaring too long at the older Master, and quickly answers the kid. "Master Chapaa'ai...? What does h -" No, don't confuse the kid, he doesn't know that... " - or, I mean, where is he?"
