When Master and Padawan finally enters Sheps quarters. He limps the last few feet and drops himself down on his bed. The leg is irritating him a bit more that he wants to admit right now. Though it is probably just because he should not have walked so long on it.
He gives Kiineq an apologetic smile, but does not move to get up.

As Shep drops down on the bed, Kiineq crosses his arms in front of him and leans against the wall.
He studies the boy for a moment. Try as he might, the Padawan can't hide the fact that it hurts from his Master, he knows him too well.
"Come on, Shep." he says, sending the boy a small smile. "I think dinner will be about ready once you're done..."

"Yes, Master." Shep says sitting up. He puts his feet down on the floor and starts to undo his belt. Next comes his obi, tabbads and outer tunic.
"You think they are serving something good for dinner tonight?" Shep asks. He is not avoiding the topic of his resent sparring per se, he is just not going to be the one to open the topic...

He pushes himself off from the wall and crosses the room to sit down on the one chair in it.

Shep reaches down to undo his boots. "I think, I'll need a new pair of boots." He says holding up his ruined boot. He pulls of his sock to and stands up. "Be back in a bit." He says heading for the shower.

A fem minutes later Shep returns from the fresher. He has a towel wrapped around his waist and his hair is once again sticking out in all directions as he has not done anything with it, except run a towel over it to take of the excess water.
He heads for the cupboard and sticks he head in to find some clothes. A moment later he has pulled on a pair of boxers and some pants and have grabbed the rest of the clothes he needs to put on and plopped down on the bed again.

Kiineq turns away, giving the boy a bit of privacy to get dressed.

Shep pulls his undertunic over his head, then stops before putting one his outer tunic. He makes to get up from the bed again, but seems to decide against it and lies down flat on the bed in stead, taking a deep breath and closing his eyes.

As Shep lies down, Kiineq turns back again, looking at the boy.
"So, tell me, did your... encounter... with Master Ismeth teach you anything?" he asks.

Shep does not move from his position on the bed and his eyes stay closed.
"Yes.. Master Ismeth has as temper." He says, his voice is blank, not showing whether he is serious or joking.

Shep does not notice the glance since his eyes is closes and most of his focus is inward right now.
"Well, at first what I said did not really seem to affect, but when I kept talking it did. If I hadn't screwed up I might.." He trails of, not sure of how to end the sentence. He hadn't thought he could win the dual, but he was pretty sure he could have gotten in a few hits if not for his screw up.

Shep roles partly onto his side, wincing as his injured leg touches the madras, to look at his Master.
"I might have gotten a few 'punches' in." The way he pronounces the word punches leaves no doubt that he means it figuratively.

Kiineq's eyebrow disappears upwards.
"What makes you think that?"
It's not that the Master doesn't think the Padawan could have done it, but he wants to hear why Shep thinks he might have.

Shep looks at Kiineq, wondering if Kiineq thinks he could not have done it.
"She seemed to get less controlled when she got upset. Like she was more aware of her own feelings than of the force and her surroundings."

"And you don't think she would have been able to control it, had you kept going?"
He knows that Coeur is not exactly the arch-type Jedi and that her fighting style can be unpredictable to say the least.

"I don't know." Shep says rolling onto his back again and looking into the celling.
"I just got this feeling like she became more and more uncontrolled, more concentrated on her self the me, and maybe that could have given me a chance."

"How was it to fight one wielding more than one saber?"

"Weird." The Padawan states immediately.
Shep pushes himself up on the side to look at his Master. "Every time I had one saber blocked I had to worry about the other saber too." He pauses to think a bit. "I don't think I did it very efficiently." He criticises himself. Then he falls silent, rolling back to look up into the celling.

"Actually, I think you did quite well" the Master states, and then adds, in a rather dry voice: "even if half the fight was not really sparring"

Shep rolls up to look at his Master. "Really?" He asks hopefully.
"You know how to defend properly against an enemy with two sabres?" His sparring match against Master Ismeth has shown him a skill he has yet to learn.

At the Padawan's second question, the Master turns a bit more serious.
"Possibly." he says thoughtfully. "Though I must admit it has been a while since I have had an opportunity to test my skill"

Before Shep has a chance to respond to what Kiineq says his stomach rumbles and being the Padawans stomach it does it pretty loudly. "Err, guess my stomach is hungry." Shep mumbles.

"Are you ever not hungry, dear Padawan of mine?" he says with a smile.
