The guard enters a code and opens the door to an office like room - though there are no windows in there. A table and two chairs, and that's it. He smiles at Mijana
"If you could please wait here, Miss"

Mijana steps inside the room and sits down in one of the two chairs.
She nods at the guard, but doesn't smile.

"Thank you for your cooperation, miss" The guard leaves the room - and locks the door behind him

Mijana leans back in the seat, sighing deeply. She lays her bag on the floor, resisting he urge to take out her datapad, to write some notes down on what she's just been through, but it wouldn't be appropriate.
Those damned Jedi. Fallen or non-Fallen, or what ever they called themselves. Even one of those who, should be helping the Republic, is supporting a crazy case, who attacks civilians with no reason.
She taps her fingers impatiently on the table surface. Hopefully, if this was just an interrorgation, she would be out, as soon, as the public announcement was out in the news. She smiles a little, by the thought of the facts she would put in the article, she was going to write. And they couldn't stop her.
Sighing again, she thinks for herself, how long, they could let her stay in here, waiting ... waiting ... waiting.

Almost half an hour passes, before the door is opened again. This time, however, there's no guards to be seen. Only a large, old looking Wookiee with a big branch to support himself. He nods at Mijana

Mijana looks up at the old wookie. Recognzing him, from the articles she'd read on the Jedi. The leader of the council himself.
She nods quick and short to the old wookie, only a little surprised, that it is him that's there, and not the twi'lek from before.

The Wookiee pulls out the chair across from Mijana, and sits down. You can almost see the chair moving under his weight. He leans the branch against the table, and looks at MIjana
[Greetings, young human. I am Chapaa'ai, senior member of the Jedi Councel]
The droid at Chapaa'ai's belt quickly translates
"Master Chapaa'ai, senior member of the jedi council greets you"

Mijana nods and leans in on the table
"I know who you are." She doesn't say anything to the greeting part of the translation.

The great Wookiee doesn't seem to be offended by her words. Instead, he smiles, almost sadly
[Most people in the Galaxy do. However, I am not sure I am aware of your name?]
"Master Chapaa'ai says that as many people know his name that is not a surprise. He, however, wishes to know your name?"

Mijana has a neutral gaze in her eyes, but she already hates the situation. If she'd ever hoped for some time alone with a Jedi, or with Chapaa'ai himself, she would be asking the questions.
For now, she just had to go with the flow, she thought.
"My name," she smiles a little falsely to the Master. "is Mijana Jeta."

The great Wookiee nods slowly, stroking his long braids
[It is a pleasure to meet you]
"Master Chapaa'ai says he is pleased to meet you, Mijana Jeta" The droid translates. Chapaa'ai raises his hand
[Do you know, why you have been asked to wait here, miss Jeta]
"The Master wishes to know, if you are aware of the reason you were asked to wait here?" The droid translates

Mijana has to remind herself, to be careful about what she's thinking. You'd never know about these Jedi.
She nods, sighing a little. "Yes, I know why I'm here. Your colleague said something about protected custody and protecting the society. All in all, I'm here, because I saw the Chancellor being killed." She points a finger at him. "By one of your runaways."

Chapaa'ai nods slowly
[however, those we refer to as "the fallen" do not belong to the Jedi] Chapaa'ai looks at Mijana, trying to figure out what kind of woman she is
"Master Chapaa'ai wishes to state however that the Fallen Jedi do not belong to the Jedi order"

Mijana can't stop herself, before she sits up straight again, with a serious look at the old wookie.
"Now you see, that's very hard to believe, after today, isn't it? Two of these 'Fallen'," she makes the air quotes, to specify, what she thinks of it. "breaks into the Senate building, and strikes down the Chancellor, with the same type of weapon that you use. Meanwhile," she sighs a bid as she continues. "a not-Fallen Jedi girl, I assume, after the escape of the two 'fallen', attacks civilians, while in the company of your colleague, Master Syll'kann I believe."
She couldn't stop herself. Somewhere, she knew, she went a little too far. But ... better now then ever. The journalist in her, jumped in.
"The public will not be feeling safe for a long time now. And your trust with them, will be very will have hit a big strike today."
Right now, she didn't care about, that she was insulting the leader of the Jedi council. She was speaking her mind, and it was in her right to do so.

((We should note that Syll'kann's name is not mentioned in the other thread, and I doubt Mijana knows it then))
Chapaa'ai nods slowly
[We do agree that people's trust in the Jedi will have suffered, when they learn of that has happened here today]
He strokes his braids
[However, you are are being unfair, by judging the Jedi on the fact that the Fallen use the same weapon as we do. A guard of the Republic uses a blaster. Does that make all people, who caries a blaster guards? Or...a pirate, use a blaster. Does that make all people carrying a blaster a pirate? Are our guards pirates then, or are all pirates our guards and protectors?] The great Wookiee looks at her, as the droid chooses a direct translation this time
//Meaning you can just pretend there were " " around what Chapaa'ai said in this post

((Sorry, my mistake. I thought that one of the guards mentioned his name, but I see that they didn't.))
Mijana thinks a moment, taking in Chapaa'ai's words. She folds her hands on the table, looking into the eyes of the wookie.
"There is a difference. In fact several. Normal people; pirates, guards, politicians or civilians are not the same kind of people, like you are, Master Chapaa'ai. Ordinary people, don't carry lightsabers or are able to pursuade others into things they don't want to, by using mind tricks. They are not able to move items around with their mind. They can't enhance their abilities, by using some sort of greater power, that is apparently only for those who you select."
She pauses, tapping her fingernails a bid onto the table surface. "I may not be a Jedi. I may be an ordinary person to you. But you can't fool me. Those who you see as Fallen, used to be in your Order. They are Jedi. They don't know of any other life than the Jedi life, and what you are able to research on. In my oppinion ... they're Jedi, with a bad attitude. And thanks to them, the public fear, what the rest of the Order is able to do, if they also begin to think too much of themselves."

Chapaa'ai shakes his head slowly, looking almost sad as he gazes at Mijana
[You have a very narrow way of seeing things, miss Jeta] he hums quietly
[Fallen Jedi were Jedi. They aren't anymore. Jedi don't seek power. The ones who Follow Drashk Raah do. It is also important to note that all Jedi who leave the order are not evil. Some just doesn't wish to leave the restricted life of a Jedi. It is up to each Jedi to decide for him or herself, if they feel they do not belong among us anymore. Some Jedi end up leaving the order, but that doesn't mean they turn evil]

Mijana smiles a little crooked.
"That is what it seems, from your point of view, as a Jedi. But me," she shrugs. "I don't know. Somehow, I find it difficult to see the difference, because Jedi lives a secluded life, behind your walls of the temple. Us ordinary people, don't really know that much about you, your rules and and your way of life. But then we hear about these Jedi, who's left the Order, to, as you put it, seek power." She shrugs again. "It may be clear to you, that they are not Jedi anymore. But it seems that way, to outsiders."

Chapaa'ai shakes his head slowly
[stubborn human being]
The droid chooses not to translate his quiet growling - but for one not understanding Wookiee, it might just be his way of clearing his throat
[you have a very unusual way to look at things, miss Jeta]
"Master Chapaa'ai says that your point of view is not one, we often meet"

Seeing as Mijana can't understand the wookie language, she isn't touched by the untranslated growling.
She holds back a snort, at the comment. It was sooo typical Jedi, to think that. Not many, would probably say what they really think about the Jedi to their face. Unless, it was pure admiration.
She sighs a bid, as she thinks it is best, to drop that topic ... for now.
"Is there anything, you need to know from me? About the Chancellor's killing?"

Mijana raises an eyebrow. She didn't expect that question. Maybe she had the advantage in this situation.
She shrugs. "Seeing as, you will not be able to hold the information of her death, from the public, too long, there is nothing that I know, that you won't tell them. Is there?"

Mijana takes a deep breath, before answering.
"You see, Master Chapaa'ai, we have this thing called, freedom of speech, so if I want to tell the truth about what I saw and who I saw doing that, I can. And, if I do that before you tell the galaxy, then it's your own fault. But I assume," she leans in on the table, folding her hands, and looking into his eyes, with a crooked smile. "that there is something, you don't want me to tell the public?"
