Trace is standing in front of the door to the counsil chamber, looking at it.
He always does that - waits a second or two - before entering a room. Especially when something, or someone, is waiting for him on the other side.
Right now something important is waiting for him on the other side of this door.
Trace can feel it. Or guess it, would more likely be the right term.
Master Chappa'ai would not summon anyone just for fun. Or, if hi did, Master Jade would most certainly not.
Trace takes a deep breath, that leaves his mouth loudly, now that noone is aorund to hear it.
Then he opens the door resolutely and enters the room.
