It's a time of day, where not many students are in the garden. It's a time, where Naitia loves to be there.
She walks up to the fountain and sits down, enjoying some quiet time for a change.
She looks up on the towers that are the Jedi-Temple. There was no place better than home. She runs her fingers through her hair and keeps her gaze upon the towers. She sees herself lucky just being here. It's something that not everyone can be a part of.
She sighes slightly, and turns her gaze back to the fountain and the water in it. It's moments like this that made her happy. Some quiet time in the middle of the hectic daylife.
Naitia settles in a better position and let looks around in the garden for a bit.

A tall Twi'lek dressed in a long redbrown Jedi tunic limps down a broad staircase nearby. Obviously he finds it hard to move like that, keeping a close distance to the banister. Yet his face shows no sign of pain, tiredness, irritation, whatsoever. The sharp reptile features remains unmoving, ever so silent.
Syll'kann's eyes narrows a bit, as he reaches the end of the staircase and leaves the shadows of the Temple. He tends to forget, how much light there is out here in the gardens, different from the Archives. Without seeming to notice it himself, his hand moves down and slightly pads his knee. It aches. 'Don't like moving down the stairs, do you??'
Then he notices the girl sitting at the fountain. He continues to smile quietly as ever and nodds.

Naitia feels the others precense in the Force, as Syll'Kan moves down the stairs. She turns her head and rises to her feet, as he steps off the last step.
"Master Syll'Kan!" she says and bows her head in greeting.

Syll'kann stops and turns to the Padawan approaching him. No. Not Padawan. No braid.
"Jedi La-Don." He nodds slightly and sends her a friendly smile. "Good day to you. It's been a while, since you found your way to the Archives.. Too busy saving the galaxy??" He archs an eyebrow, but there is nothing sarcastic nor accusing in his voice, and the friendly smile does not leave his lips.

Naitia smiles back.
"Not really. Busy with other things, you could say. Helping younger students." Her smile wears a little. "And ... being questioned whether I'm still in contact with ... Master Nyo!"
She sighs slightly after finishing her sentence.

"Ah. Yes." Syll'kann nodds slowly in understanding. "That would explain a lot. Not that I would ever blame you for not visiting the Archives." He gestures around the sunny garden with a thin a hand. "With a weather like this, it is too sad to be indoors, even for a Jedi."
He tilts his head a bit. "You seek the sun light to brighten up your mind - or just to find a little peace and quiet from everything else?"

Naitia's smile broadens a little. "A little of both, I pressume." She takes a look around in the garden.
"I feel, that in ones time alone, you can have the quietness you need, for getting the answers for the questions one could have."
She turns back to Syll'Kan and smiles still. "And maybe getting a bit tanned."

Syll'kann laughs silently. "Well, of course that is a possibility, too." He let his eyes wander across the gardens and to the clear sky above. Then he turns back to Naitia, before his mind wanders off to Force knows where. "Sometimes the answers you seek, are not to be found in the Archives, unfortunately."

Naitia sighs again and also turns her eyes towards the sky.
"I know. When I was younger, I thought that either the archives or the holocrons had all the answers. But ... some answers are just to be found by yourself, and not by others."

Syll'kann nodds again. "That is true. But if all the knowledge in the galaxy could be found in a Holocron or in the Archives, what would we then gain our experience from, hm? How could we learn from our mistakes?" He looks down at the young Jedi with a serious glance in his eyes. "But do not seek the answers so eagerly, young Jedi, that you forget about the galaxy around you."

Naitia looks into his eyes and listens to his words.
"You're right. If you gain the answers too quickly, then there's nothing left."
She bites her lip deep in thought.

"Oh, I'm sure that more questions will come around...." Syll'kann let a silent smile pass his lips again. "... Just as you thought, all your answers were found."
The Twi'lek starts to walk down a narrow road through the garden and gestures Naitia to follow him. "Have patience. The answers will come to you - maybe even in the very moment you stop looking for them..."
"Walk with me. It's been a while since I've talked to someone. Been busy burrying myself in books."

Naitia nodds at his words. It makes sense.
"Certainly!" she answers him at his request to walk with him, in a speed so they're able to walk side by side.

Syll'kann keeps a slow pace, mostly to keep his knee from aching so badly. He needs to get it checked again, he reminds himself. He folds his hands inside his tunic's wide sleeves and glances at the Jedi beside him. Yet he remains silent.

Naitia walks beside him, slowing down even more, so he can keep up with her.
It was nice walking in the Temple garden. Even more, being quiet. It was really nice. She knew that Syll'kann also prefered not to talk as much. He was a person whose company she liked a lot.
While they walk, Naitia's from time to time casting glanzes up at the towers.

Syll'kann tilts his head a bit once again, as he notices her glancing at the Towers. "Something on your mind? Or just enjoying the view??" He stops short and turns around to face the Temple. "Beautiful, isn't it?"

"Enjoying the view." She smiles at him. "I don't know. I've always loved the view from both down here and up there. It's like you can see the whole of Coruscant from the top tower, but there's still so much that you can't see."
She inhales deeply, as she proceeds. "It also makes me feel lucky, that I'm a part of the Order."

"Yes. Lucky... Don't we all?" Syll'kann nodds, feeling his mind drifting twenty years back in time. Stilll his features remains ontouched by whatever is going on behind his midnight blue eyes. His hand show nothing either, hidden as they are in his tunic's sleeves.

The sound of heavy footsteps are heard, before the owner of the steps appear. A tall, dusty white wookiee appears a little ahead of the two jedi. He's supported by a thick branch, and his steps are slow. Two, long, thick braids hang from his chin, and he carries himself with pride, despite his age. He nods at the pair and speaks in Wookiee. He knows that Syll'kann does not need a translation, but seeing as Naitia is there, a translator droid at his belt (looking almost as old as he) speaks:
"Master Chapaa'ai greets you and wishes you both a well day"

Naitia looks down again and sees the old Wookiee behind them. She takes a deep breath. She didn't know why, but every time she saw the old Wookiee Master, she always became a little nevous.
"Good day to you too, Master Chapaa'ai!" She bows deep in greeting and respect.

Syll'kann allows a warm smile to cross his lips, before he bows deeply. His respect is not only held for the Wookie's title of Grand Jedi Master, but also for his admirable age. How much knowledge couldn't be collected in such a long life?? How much experience?? The answer to that Syll'kann found to be beyond his imagination. "Greetings, Master Chapaa'ai." He straightens up again, but lets his hands slip from his sleeves in the same motion.

Chapaa'ai leans heavily against his branch, looking at Naitia. There's no sign of age in his clear, blue eyes, as he nods slightly.
Chapaa'ai hums and growls, and then pads his translator droid.
"Master Chapaa'ai congratulates you in successfully drawing Master Syll'kann out of the archives for a change"
He turns his attention to Syll'kann and hums a few words again.
[Master Syll'kann, out enjoying the fine weather?]

Naitia sends the Master a nervous smile and looks a down a little while she speaks. "Actually, I was already in the garden, when he came down here. We then started talking a little."

A laugh escapes Syll'kann's lips by the Wookie's words. He quickly falls silent again, but a weak smile remains on his lips. "Yes, Master, I must admit... the need of sunshine can sometimes overwhelm even me."

Chapaa'ai closes a paw around his braids, and nods slowly. He carefully takes another step forward, and places a gigantic paw on Naitia's shoulder, and hums gently.
"Master Chapaa'ai apologizes, but he wishes to speak with Master Syll'kann under four eyes" The droid translates.

Naitia nodds. "Of course. I will leave you, then."
She turns and begins to walk away from them and starts walking up the stairs inside the temple.

Syll'kann frowns a little, watching Naitia leave. Then he turns to Master Chapaa'ai, his lekku jittering a little as if in confusion. Of course, he had talked to Master Chapaa'ai before - in the Archives. But what was this sudden feeling of... unease?
"Is there something amiss, Master?"

Chapaa'ai leans heavily on the branch, and nods towards a bench a few steps away. He growls slightly.
[Let us sit, please, my legs are not what they once were]
The sound of the branch hitting the ground almost echoes through the gardens, as Chapaa'ai walks towards the bench, and sits down.
His clear blue eyes looks at Syll'kann with a saddened look, and he hums quietly.
[Have you heard anything of the affair with the Fallen Jedi on Jandoon?]

Syll'kann follows the Grand Master's example and sits down beside him, gratefully for being able to rest his knee a little. He stiffens all at sudden, as he hears Chapaa'ai's words. The Twi'lek Jedi Master's eyes widens shortly in disbelief and a deep frown shows on his brow. The lekku hanging down his back twitch, as if remembering something uncomfortable and painful.
"Fallen Jedi on Jandoon...?" He shakes his head. "No, Master. I have not."
