I was reading old fanfics, and stumbled across this.
A senator and her bodyguard having a secret affair. That would be pretty stupid of them, yeah? Not to mention painfully cliché, right?
That's why it would be unbelievably fun, too! ;D so I went with it, knowing neither of them would be stupid enough to do something like this in game. ...-I hope.
Well, enjoy. And yes, Aeré still belongs to Karen, Seth is mine, the rest is Lucas'!
"Stars..." Aeré rubbed her temples as she walked down the hallway on her way from the senate to her office.
"Seth, from now on I demand you wearing a tie, so I can strangle stupid rodians like Slytthas with it!"
"Use your scarf."
"I beg you pardon?"
"Your scarf, senator. Or a blaster."
Aeré sighed deeply. "Seth, I thought it was part of your job to stop me from murdering my colleagues..."
"Technically not." Seth's face was calm as always. "I am here to make sure they don't kill you."
The Naboo senator gave a short, tired laugh. "Is that so..." She opened the door to her office, and stepped inside. As the door closed behind her and her bodyguard, she sighed deeply, letting the strong, ice cold façade drop completely. She reached up, removing the silvery pins from her hair, to let the long braid unroll itself down her back. It had felt like the pins were drawing blood from her scalp, but it was probably just her headache.
"You look like you could use a cup of coffee." Seth had scanned the room for danger within seconds, and still managed to name the exact thought that was going through her mind.
"Your a mind reader, Seth." She gave him a tired smile, as he left the room for a few moments to get the coffee.
Aeré caught herself looking after him, and shook her head with a crooked smile. Then she slipped out of her silken jacket, rolling her shoulders slowly, trying not to grimace from the jolts of pain her sore muscles sent up through her neck.
Cool, gentle fingers opened the lock of her heavy silver choker, putting down the jewellery on the desk, before gently massaging her slender neck.
"You should remember not to tighten your shoulders like that."
"Yes, I know... Nhh... A little down, it's my right shoulder. It's killing me..."
Seth smiled almost invisibly, as his fingers worked on her tired muscles. "It's your cup to the left."
Aeré bowed her head forward, to make it easier for him to find the right muscles in her back, before taking the cup from the desk. Coffee with milk, both in doses as if she had made it herself. How he did it, she didn't know, it had taken her a week to stop asking him if he wanted milk or sugar. Sometimes she wondered if he was one of those people with low latent inhibition, or he just was naturally skilled with details.
"It's great... Mmm... Ow, right there, it hurts... I think it's the chair, I don't sit well in it any more."
"You should get a new one, then."
"Yeah..." Aeré stretched, taking a deep breath, before finally relaxing properly. She turned around to look up at him, a smile on her lips.
"Thank you."
"You're welcome."
Aeré smiled, and took a sip of her cup. His hand was still on her shoulder, now just caressing it gently. His fingertips sent a wonderful tickling sensation down her spine. She would not have guessed it when she first began to know him, but he was actually really good at making her relax.
She glanced shortly at the closed door, before putting down her coffee. Then she grabbed the collar of his shirt and pulled him down for her to kiss his lips. Not that she had to use any force to do it. He wasn't actually trying to resist.
He didn't taste of much, and yet he tasted very special. Like clear, cool water. And Aeré kissed him thirstily. She knew she shouldn't. He was her bodyguard. Their relationship was supposed to be utterly professional.
That just made it all a little more intriguing.
Seth pulled her closer and she could feel his strong arms around her. Her hands loosened his shirt a bit to slip over the smooth skin of his stomach. She could feel his ribs with her fingertips, but before she could mentally note how thin he was, his tongue playing with hers made her forget it again completely. She sighed in a slow exhale before biting his lower lip teasingly. He responded by kissing her even deeper.
"Senator Jupal, please, I'm sorry for interrupting, but you've got to hear thi-... Oh. I... Ehh..."
The whole room seemed to freeze for about three seconds. Then the young bothan senator turned on his heel, literally feeing the office. "I'll uh...come back later then!"
The door closed.
The silence was as good as complete.
"You think he saw us?" Aeré didn't know whether to scream out loud or laugh till she died. She never did any of those things anyway.
"Judging by the look on his face and his sudden exit?" Seth looked down at the senator.
"Yeah. I think he saw us."
