A couple of hours has passed since Tianara was before the council, explaining about the situation at Jandoon. She is walking slowly down the hallway at the Temple, until she reaches the Archives. She takes a deep breath, and allows herself a little smile. The Archives were always quiet and peaceful, a perfect place to relax and gather one's thoughts. At first, she just sits down at a table, staring straight out in front of her, obviously lost in thoughts.

"Lost, are you, young one?" A tall Twi'lek emerges from one of the corridors to Tianara's right. He is dressed in a long tunic in redbrown colours and a darkbrown robe. As he limps closer, he tilts his head a bit, in a polite gesture, and smiles silently at her. "Or just lost in your thoughts?"

Tianara looks up from her hands, and sends a shy smile to Syll'kann.
"Just lost in thoughts, I believe, Master Syll'kann" Syll'kann and Kian had often discussed various topics, and she easily remembered the elder Twi'lek's name.
"and the Archives are one of the most peaceful places at the temple"

The Jedi Master smiles kindly and stops at her table, where he sits down, resting his knee. "In times of trouble, the Archives are always a good place to find some peace and quiet to get time to think..." He looks at Tianara with his midnight blue eyes. "Though it's just an old library with some strange, old folks like me, lurking around in the shadows." There is a glint of humor in his eyes, as he speaks.

Tianara shakes her head with a small smile. The sun falling in through the windows catches her hair, making it glow like fire.
"I don't regard you as being old or strange, Master Syll'kann. Have often have I not heard you and Master Kian discuss this or that problem? I am very well aware of your knowledge and wisdom, Master" She looks up and meets his gaze.
"I would never regard you as strange"

"I'm glad, Tianara." Syll'kann smiles. "Master Kian must be proud of you. You have the kindest heart, always believing the best in people." The elder twi'lek rests his folded hands on the table and leans a bit forward. "How are you feeling?" he asks seriously.

Tianara places her elbows on the table, and rests her head in her hands, wrinkling her nose a little.
"I'm tired and confused" she confesses, not looking at him.
"So much have been going on, people have been questioning me, and I doubt anything's gonna be easy from now on..."

Syll'kann looks gently at her, then he reaches out and rests his hand on the young Padawan's arm. "It's all right. You've been through a lot, and that's putting it lightly."
He squeezes her arm a little, to make her look at him. "Nothing has ever been easy, Tianara. Life itself is not easy... But yes, things are going to change... in a rough way."

Tianara shrugs and smiles slightly.
"Well, no, you're right about the. Life is a big struggle, with questions without answers, things that hurt and things that tire you. But up until now, all the good things in life have been able to to make up for the bad things. The good things have always meant more, and there were more good things. But I have the feeling that's gonna change from now and. And that scares me, Master"

Syll'kann keeps on smiling. "Then we''ll just have to keep the good things more in mind than the bad, won't we?" He shakes his head. "Don't let the darkness in the galaxy swallow your light, Tianara."

Tianara shakes her head with a little smile.
"Always trying to speak wisdom to young Jedi minds, aren't you, Master Syll'kann?" She looks up at the Twi'lek Master, smiling.
"I'll try to keep my light guarded from the darkness..."

Syll'kann laughs silently. "Always, Tianara. That's what an old Master like me tends to do. It's never too late to share some experience with the youth."
He leans back in his chair. "That's what helps keeping me young."

Tianara tilts her head slightly.
"So, offering advise to the younger students help you stay young in mind? Or is it rather that you're trying to live out your life through that of your students?" There is an amused sparkle in Tianara's eyes. One of the reasons she enjoys talking to Master Syll'kann is the challenge. Trying to challenge each other's point of view.
